All the plants are locally grown, thereby almost insuring they will do much better than plants purchased through the mail or even grown from seed that is purchased from other parts of the
country.
Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions and help customers. A Plant Clinic table will also be available to answer gardening questions.

Agricultural Awareness Day 2012
By 2050 there will be 9 billion people on the planet. That gives us less than 40 years to double our food output on less land. How is Oregon State contributing to "Feeding the Future?"
On May 8, 2012, Oregon State University College of Agricultural Sciences addresses this question through their various club participation and student involvement. Come join us from 9AM to 3PM in the Memorial Union quad to actively learn how Oregon State is helping impact this solution and how you can get involved, too

Mason Bees are one of the primary pollinators in our area. Learn how to get started with mason bees and how to encourage them to stay in your garden.Ron Spendal will share how to choose the nest type for your garden, preparation for overwintering, cocoon cleaning, and much more.
The class will begin at 9:30am and run from 30 to 90 minutes, depending upon the topic and questions.

The 28th annual Spring Garden Fair
The 28th annual Spring Garden Fair, May 5th, 9 AM - 5 PM & 6th 9 Am- 4 PM, 2012.
History of the SGF:In 1985 the Clackamas County Master Gardeners put on the first Spring Garden Fair with a fuchsia sale. Today the vendors number over 200 and is the regions largest kickoff sale for spring planting. This event is planned, organized and hosted by Clackamas County Master Gardeners. Volunteer leaders plan September through May, and an additional 300 Master Gardener volunteers work at the two-day event.
The proceeds from this sale support two scholarships at Clackamas Community College for Horticulture students and the Clackamas County Master Gardener Horticulture Endowment at Clackamas Community College. We also support OSU Extension, local tri-county Master Gardener Program and other community projects.
Features and Attractions: Plant Check, Soil pH Testing, Master Gardener Clinics: "ask a Master Gardener", 10-Minute University, The Potting Station,New Plant Introductions and Silent Auction, Plant Raffle, Plant Taxi Service, Good Thyme Food Court, and ATM onsite.
In the 4-H Building you will find indoor seating for the Good Thyme Food court, free Soil pH testing, Master Gardener clinics, educational displays and the following societies and organizations: Home Orchard Society, Portland Bee Keepers, Champoeg 1860's kitchen garden, Vector Control, Clackamas County soil and water conservation district and office of sustainability, Multnomah County Master Gardeners with children's planting activities, , OSU Extension service, Clackamas Community College and Canby Historical society.
Parking is Free and admission to the Event Center is $3 with children 15 and under free

Tired of moving sprinklers all summer? It’s time to fix those leaks and start irrigating efficiently. Spend an educational Saturday morning with OSU Extension Horticulture Agent, Steve Castagnoli and the Hood River Soil & Water Conservation District learning tips and tricks for setting up and managing a basic irrigation system. We will cover small scale systems for lawns and landscapes as well as options for small-acreage landowners. Topics will include basic system design, techniques and tools for efficient irrigating, and the concepts behind irrigation scheduling and management. Attendees will also enjoy tour of the irrigation system in the OSU Master Gardener Learning Garden. 26th Annual Plant and Garden Expo
The Expo features thousands of plants including annuals, perennials, vegetables, shrubs, trees, etc., all lovingly grown by Master Gardeners. Plan to arrive early for the best
selection. Master Gardeners will be on hand to provide planting tips and advice. The many local vendors will be offering garden-related items such as yard art, supplies, tools, and
much, much more. There will also be raffles for fabulous prizes.
Admission is $2, and children under 12 are free. Shoppers are also encouraged to bring canned food items to support UCAN and their outreach to our local community. Service animals only,
please.
Proceeds will go toward the Douglas County OSU Extension Master Gardeners to help support their educational programs for the community. For additional information, please call the OSU
