4-H Summer Conference at OSU
Summer Conference is an opportunity for youth grades 7-12 to travel to Corvallis, explore campus life, make new friends, learn, and have a lot of fun. While here, participants attend workshops on a wide variety of subjects. Over 80 classes are offered including dog agility, a logging site tour, animal anatomy, fly fishing, origami, and etiquette.
In addition to attending workshops, participants will hear a nationally acclaimed speaker, participate in a Community Service project, and enjoy many fun activities such as a pool party and dance. For more information:http://oregon.4h.oregonstate.edu/4h-summer-conference
Tillamook Stars N' Paws Dog Fun Match
Bring your dog and join in the fun! The annual Stars N’ Paws Dog Fun Match, which is sponsored by the Starry K-9’s 4-H club, is scheduled for Saturday, May 19 at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds.
The show will include obedience classes pre-novice through graduate novice. There are also alumni showmanship and obedience classes. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. the day of the show and judging begins at 10 a.m. The show will be held inside at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds.
