OSU Extension Statewide Survey

In January 2014, the OSU Extension Service conducted a statewide public opinion survey. The survey, which has been conducted regularly since 1986, sought to understand the following:

  • Oregonians’ awareness and use of the OSU Extension Service
  • How Oregonians access information from various other organizations
  • Educational priorities
  • High and low-tech tools Oregonians use to access information

The results will be used to shape OSU Extension marketing and policy priorities, to inform programming and for advocacy purposes.

The survey reached 800 people by phone, and over 1,200 online. The results of this survey were shared at a presentation on campus on March 7.
