Become a 4-H Member

The Baker County 4-H calendar year begins in October with new enrollments and re-enrollments and ends in September.

Youth in 4-H are placed in divisions based on their age. Youth ages 5 to 8 years old may participate in the 4-H Cloverbud program. Cloverbuds are led by trained 4-H volunteers. This non-competitive, group-oriented program allows youth to explore many topics such as natural resources, community, foods, science, art, and many more. Youth ages 9 through 19 (or your last year of high school) may join 4-H project or community clubs, which are led by trained volunteer 4-H leaders.

Divisions are broken down by age as follows:
(age as of September 1 of enrollment year)

Ages 5-8         Cloverbuds
Ages 9-11       Juniors
Ages 12-14     Intermediates
Ages 15-19     Seniors
