Welcoming A Familiar Face to the 4-H Family
The Baker County OSU Extension office is pleased to announce that effective July 25 Jayne Kellar will be serving as the Baker County interim 4-H Youth Development professional faculty member! As many of you know, we’re leveraging a matching opportunity with additional fundraising for the endowed faculty position for Baker County. When our target is reached, hopefully within the next year, we will be able to place a full-time 4-H faculty member in Baker which has historically been only a 70% position. In the meantime, Jayne will assume an interim leadership position for the Baker County 4-H program, as a professional development opportunity. Jayne has been with the OSU Extension service for the past 14 years, serving as 4-H Educational Program Assistant for 3 years, Office coordinator for 9 years, and now 2 years as the Office Manager. 4-H has been a part of Jayne’s life in some form or another as long as she can remember, from an involved 4-H kid through her 14 years of involvement with the 4-H program while working for Extension in Baker and Union counties, which has helped fuel her passion for OSU’s great leadership in this program. Welcome Jayne to the 4-H family!
