OSU Extension, Benton County 2013 Report to the Community
Dear Benton County Residents,
We have produced this report to raise awareness of the many services OSU Extension and our volunteers provide to residents of Benton County and to highlight a few key accomplishments from last year.
These community efforts would not be possible without our volunteers, partners and stakeholders. In addition to these accomplishments, we have been working with them to create a county-based strategic plan to guide our programs over the next 5-10 years. We expect to have a finished plan in our office by July 1st, so feel free to contact us for a copy.
We hope you will read through our report, identify education programs of interest, and contact us to learn more or sign up for events.
Would you like to help us serve others? Many of our programs rely on trai
ning volunteers who, in turn, teach others. Last year, our volunteers reported about 47,000 hours of service. This is equivalent to 23 full time employees! We would love your help to continue serving others in Benton County.
Don’t be a stranger – come visit our office, call or email us, and visit our website for information on our programs.
