Education for better woodlands management

Our county forestry extension program brings research-based educational programming to the residents of Benton and Linn Counties. We provide information on many aspects of woodland resource management, as well as public issues education.

Our programming activities include field tours,
field demonstrations, workshops and trainings. We provide educational materials through many topic-oriented publications and videos, as well as forestry-related articles in our newsletters.

We reach out to a broad audience which includes (but is not limited to) woodland owners and managers, loggers and forest workers, Christmas tree growers, teachers, youth and increasingly, other segments of the general public.

Although I keep an office in Benton County, I cover both Benton and Linn Counties, and want this page to serve residents of both counties. Please let me know how this page can better serve you and your community.
