The Willamette Valley Ecology Field Cards produced by Oregon State University Extension Service, Benton County are graphically rich field identification cards that illustrate and describe 50 common organisms (plants, fungi, insects, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians) found in a specific habitat type in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. You may either purchase or check-out these fantastic cards at our office. There are currently five sets of Eco-Cards:

3. Riparian Bottomland Forest
4. Wetland and Wet Prairies
5. Upland Prairie
Each set includes 50 common organisms and a 50-page Educators Guide.
The target audience for this educational product is 4th-6th grade but students of all ages are using these sturdy, field cards for learning about the flora, fauna and fungus common to this area. Although this product is designed for use in the Willamette Valley, these cards and the accompanying educator’s guide are also useful in similar habitats elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
