Our program provides practical, research-based educational programming on many aspects of woodland natural resource management relevant to the mid-Willamette Valley, the adjacent foothills and mountains of Benton, Linn and Polk Counties. We bring this programming to a broad audience which includes (but is not limited to) woodland owners and managers, loggers and forest workers, farmers and Christmas tree growers, teachers and increasingly, other segments of the general public. We collaborate with many local groups, organizations and agencies to better reach and serve these diverse audiences.
Programming activities include field tours, field demonstrations, workshops and trainings. We provide educational materials through many topic-oriented publications and videos, as well as forestry-related articles in newspapers and newsletters.
