Oregon State University Oregon Climate Change Research Institute is a network of over 150 researchers at OSU, University of Oregon, Portland State University, Southern Oregon University, and affiliated federal and state labs. OCCRI fosters climate change research among faculty of the Oregon University System; serving as a clearinghouse for climate information; and providing climate change information to the public in an easily understandable form.

Oregon State University College of Earth, Ocean, & Atmospheric Sciences is internationally recognized as a leader in the study of Earth, has research in oceanography, water resources, climate change, and natural hazards.

Cornell University Climate Change program has comprehensive information on climate change events, research, student courses, and public engagement at Cornell University.

Center for Research on Environmental Decisions produced a Psychology of Climate Change Communication guide that details the biases and barriers to scientific communication and is designed to inform society of the action that needs to be taken to address climate change.
