Tree School is a one day workshop event for woodland and Christmas tree growers. Tree School 2017 will be on March 25.
Community Forestry Day, August 13, 2016, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Hopkins Demonstration Forest, 16750 S Brockway Rd, Oregon City, OR. There is a lot to be done in August. Woodland Farmer of the Year picnic, Saturday, August 13, 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Jack Thronson and Holly Hordichok were the 2015 Woodland Farmers of the Year. Tree Health in your Neighborhood, August 24, 5:30 - 8:00 pm, Sandy Public Library Community Room, 38980 Proctor Boulevard, Sandy, OR. Attend this evening session to learn and share about forest and tree health problems in the region this year. Bring your examples, photographs, and questions for discussion. Space is limited. Small Farms School, September 15, 2016, 8 am - 4:30 pm, Clackamas Community College, Oregon City, Oregon. Hopkins Demonstration Forest 25th Anniversary, Saturday, September 17, 2016, 2:00 - 6:00 pm, Hopkins Demonstration Forest, 16750 S. Brockway Road, Oregon City. Everyone is invited to a public re-dedication of the Hopkins Demonstration Forest, The event will be held on Saturday, September 17. Tours and displays will be available in the afternoon beginning at 2:00 pm. A re-dedication ceremony at Everett (Forest) Hall will be at 4:00 pm.
