Mark Schmidt

Mark Schmidt was born in Oregon city, raised in Beavercreek and attended Molalla High School.

His family's farm included the Lazy S Sawmill on Larkin Road in Beavercreek.  Mark's brother operates the mill today.  Mark has spent his career designing and constructing all wood homes and commercial buildings.

Mark received his Associates Degree from Clackamas Community College and completed his Bachelor's Degree in Business/Agricultural Economics at Oregon State University.

After college, Mark chose to stay in Corvallis and spent a decade designing and building custom homes during the lucrative housing boom of the 1970's.  In 1982 Mark returned to Molalla, married and began exclusively designing homes and small buildings.

Currently his work includes custom homes, commercial buildings; churches, assembly halls, office buildings and light industrail buildings.  Mark offers an array of design services, including feasiblility studies, conceptual design, land use & site planning, architectural design and construction monitoring.
