Tree Genetics Field Tour, August 27, 2015, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm, Port Blakely Demonstration Site and BLM's Horning Tree Seed Orchard, Colton. There is no fee, but reservation is required. Contact jean.bremer@oregonstate.edu.

Community Forestry Day, September 12, 2015, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Hopkins Demonstration Forest. Learn by doing a variety of projects in a sustainably managed woodland. Projects include tree planting, trail maintenance, pruning and more. Projects vary with the seasons. Small Farm School, September 12, 2015, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Clackamas Community College. Small  Farm School is a full day event with hands-on and classroom workshops for beginning farmers and small acreage rural landowners. Registration is required.
