The 4-H program is a partnership between the land grant university system and non-profit support groups. When you make a tax-deductible donation to our county or club 4-H organizations, 100% of your donation goes towards programming. Act now to make a difference in the lives of youth!
The Clackamas County 4-H Leaders' Association supports the overall 4-H program in our county. It is a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation. You can donate online through Guidestar or mail contributions to the Extension office.
Our 4-H Project Advisory Committees and 4-H Clubs are subsidiaries of the Leaders' Association and can also take donations. If you would like to make a donation to an Advisory Committee for programs or county fair awards, contact us for more information about our groups. Checks may then be sent to the Extension office.
If you have items that you would like to donate to the 4-H program, please contact us and describe your item(s). For large donations, we prefer to know in advance that you are coming so we may arrange a space to store them.
The 4-H program does not accept animals as donations. Giving an animal to a specific individual does not qualify as a tax deduction, and the Leaders' Association cannot assume the risk of owning the animal itself. If you have animals to give away, contact us and we will share your ad or email with our 4-H families as we can.
The Oregon 4-H Foundation and the National 4-H Council also accept donations to support 4-H Youth Development programs. The OSU Extension Service accepts donations for statewide Extension support, or you can designate your support for a specific county.
