The Extension Forestry program provides education, outreach, and assistance to landowners and farmers involved in the management and conservation of forest and natural resources. However, the OSU Extension Service also has an Urban and Community Horticulture program to provide assistance for home landscape, yard, and garden tree questions.
Extension Master Gardeners are trained and certified volunteers of Oregon State University and serve all citizens in Clackamas County. In fact, there are more than 300 active Master Gardeners in Clackamas County. One of their many public services is a walk-in clinic at the Extension office in Oregon City. Trained volunteers are available to answer questions every Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
If you have tree questions or problems in your home landscape, yard, or garden, call the Extension office at 503-655-8631 and ask to visit with one of our Master Gardeners. Or, stop by the office to talk with a volunteer. You'll be glad you did!
