Below are the requirements for market animals to show at the Clatsop County Fair

Market Animal Guidelines

**Animals NOT meeting the required market weight may be shown in a feeder or breeding class**

BEEF - Steer only:  900 lbs minimum

LAMB - Ewe or wether:  100 lbs minimum

SWINE - Barrow or gilt:  210-300 lbs  (swine must weigh at least 40 lbs at Spring weigh-in)

GOATS - wether or does:  60 lbs minimum

TURKEYS:

• Hen (under 1 year)  10 lb. minimum
• Tom (under 1 year)  17 lb. minimum

CHICKENS:

• Fryer Pen of 3 (under 8 weeks)  4-6 lbs
• Roaster Pen of 3 (8-16 weeks) over 6 lbs minimum

**Blue or better ribbon animals sold**

RABBIT:

• Fryer Pen of 3 (56-68 days) 3.5-5 lbs
• Roaster Pen of 3 (69-90 days) 5-7.5 lbs

DUCKS - Pen of 3 (less than 12 weeks old) 5-8 lbs

GEESE - Single Gander or Single Goose (less than 20 weeks) 8-15 lbs.

SQUAB - Pen of 3 (25-35 days) 12oz-24oz (per each bird)
