Sustainable fisheries management, education and community engagement, seabird-fisheries interactions

Amanda Gladics is an assistant professor of practice with Oregon Sea Grant, focused on coastal fisheries on the north coast and Columbia River. She provides community education programs related to commercial fisheries that foster sustainability of fishery resources, and the public's understanding of those resources. Her current focus areas include community education about sustainable seafood and fisheries and collaborative research and engagement on fisheries-wildlife interactions. She serves as the convener and facilitator for the Oregon Whale Entanglement Working Group
