The aim of the Oregon State University Extension Service gardening program is to help beginning and experienced gardeners alike effectively and sustainably use their soil and water resources for productive harvest, aesthetically pleasing landscapes, and personal satisfaction.
The gardening program is one of many OSU Extension Service programs that bring practical knowledge to people throughout Oregon. Oregon's gardening education program is assisted by Master Gardener volunteers who help deliver information and gardening encouragement in their local counties and communities.
