4-H County Fair

4-H County Fair 2012: July 18-22 General Admission, 4-H Fair begins July 16th - 22nd. (Horse Gaming will be held on July 7th - weather permitting)

The Columbia County Fair is held each year in July.

It is a time when 4-H members have an opportunity to show the results of their learning and efforts. It is also a chance for 4-H'ers to meet other members from across the county and share experiences and ideas with them.

Participation at the Fair is not required, but members are missing an excellent opportunity for additional fun, enrichment, and learning. All 4-H'ers should be encouraged to participate in Fair if possible. Static judging is held on Monday of fair week, and on a first come first served basis we schedule time with the judges.

To participate in the Fair, the child must be enrolled in 4-H by April 1 with the Extension office. Fair entry forms are due on or before June 1st. For more information concerning the Fair, consult the 4-H Fair premium book.

This 4-H Member 4-H registration fair form is due June 1st.

4-H member bracelets are $5.00 for the week; 4-H leader passes are $3.00 per day.

Horse Qualification and Dog Qualification forms are also due June 1st.

Club contact leaders, your Horse Stall, and Animal Pen/Cage/Stall request form is due June 1st.
