4-H County Fair forms due by June 1st!

Please get your forms in as soon as possible! We need to get them entered into the computer and have lists ready for your leaders!

4-H Summer Camp, June 16-19 2013

Columbia County's 4-H Summer Camp is for 4th through 7th graders - and you do not have to be a 4-H'er to attend! Don't miss out on this all important, canoeing, crafting, singing, hiking, being loud, eating too many s'mores event!

Pressure Canner Dial Gauge Testing

Dial gauge testing for your pressure canner is available at our office. Bring in the dial gauge or the lid with the gauge attached and we can test it for accuracy.

The Extension Service is here to serve the citizens of Columbia County, providing knowledge from universities nationwide. We provide researched-based information to families, youths, schools, agriculture producers, home gardeners, foresters and governments.

Our office offers a variety of programs, which include 4-H Youth Development, Home Gardening, Agriculture and Small Farms, Family and Community Health, Forestry & Natural Resources and Master Gardeners.

We plublish four newsletters from our office: Country Living (gardening and farming topics), Tall Timber Topics (forestry/wood lots), Columbia Columns (for 4-H members and leaders), and Healthy Families (food, finance, family). If you would like to receive these newsletters by mail, please give the office a call.
