Sheep Production Basics Workshop
Basic Sheep Production is the focus of a workshop scheduled Monday, November 16, 6pm - 9pm in Beaverton at the Washington County Extension Office, room 1411.
The evening seminar is geared to the interests and information needs of newer sheep producers. Topics covered include flock management, sheep health and the scrapie eradication program, grazing management and pasture production.

Speakers include Dr. Aurora Villarroel, Extension Veterinarian, Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine; Robert Dyk, U.S. Department of Agriculture - APHIS, Veterinary Services; Chip Bubl, Extension field faculty, OSU Extension Service, Columbia County; Gene Pirelli, Regional Livestock/Forage Specialist, OSU Extension Service; and James Thompson, OSU Extension Sheep Specialist.
