  • Audubon Society - - Helps support local birds, other wildlife and their habitats in the Willamette Valley and beyond.
  • Farmers' Markets - A listing of local farmers' markets, events offered at each market and a "pick of the month" fruit or vegetable.
  • Home Orchard Society - A nonprofit educational organization dedicated to assisting both novice and expert growers, and to promoting the science, culture, and pleasure of growing tree fruit.
  • Landscape Plant Identification - Contains images and information for over 900 landscape plants (mostly woody) listed in alphabetical order by genus from Abelia to Zalkovia. Also has a common name list and native plant list.
  • Month by Month Pest Alert - Plant problems caused by insects and other arthropods, diseases and non-pathogenic conditions from samples brought to the Oregon State University Plant Pathology Clinic each month.
  • National Pesticide Information Center and Hotline - Provides objective, science-based information about pesticides and pesticide-related topics to enable people to make informed decisions about pesticides and their use.

  • Northwest Berry & Grape Information Network - The most comprehensive information and communications resource for berry and grape production practices, research, and marketing.
  • Northwest Garden News - A garden publication focused on Pacific Northwest Gardening.
  • Nursery Integrated Pest Management - Provides educational materials and links for the identification and management of pests in commercial nursery production in the Pacific Northwest. Click on the treasure chest.
  • Oregon Association of Nurserymen - The outline version of the Oregon Association of Nurseries Directory & Buyers Guide publication which offers a searchable database for locating plants, growers, services and related products.
  • Oregon Federation of Garden Clubs - A listing of member garden clubs, contacts and events.
  • Oregon Master Gardener Association - An OSU Extension Service program that educates Oregonians about the art and science of growing and caring for plants. This program also facilitates the training of a highly educated corp of volunteers. These volunteers extend sustainable gardening information to their communities through education and outreach programs.
  • Oregon State Beekeepers Association - Information about bees and beekeeping. Includes events offered by a diverse bunch of individuals who share a fascination for the honeybee and its workings.
  • Oregon Tilth - A nonprofit research and education membership organization dedicated to biologically sound and socially equitable agriculture. Oregon Tilth offers education events throughout the state of Oregon, and provides organic certification services to organic growers, processors, and handlers internationally.
  • Pacific Northwest Disease Management Handbook - An alphabetical listing of plants, diseases that affect them, and management options including mechanical, biological and chemical. Includes photos.
  • Pacific Northwest Insect Management Handbook - A listing of insect pests with management options.
  • Pacific Northwest Weed Management Handbook - A quick and ready reference of weed control practices used in various cropping systems or site/situations in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
  • Pest Leaflet Series - Is a series of brief bulletins or problems frequently received at the laboratory of Washington State University Puyallup Plant & Insect Diagnostic Laboratory. The Pest Leaflet Series covers insect problems, diseases, abiotic problems, and other miscellaneous situations.
  • Toxic Plant List - Lists of plants toxic to humans compiled by Oregon Health & Sciences University. Rated from "very bad" to "good."
  • Urban Entomology - A collection of bulletins, fact sheets and images of urban pests, their biology and, where appropriate, control. Emphasis is always on the least toxic approach to control.
