Plant Problems and DiagnosisDisease problems in commercial farm and forest crops may be diagnosed by local agents and campus-based specialists. Samples representative of a problem should be submitted in fresh condition. Place sample in a plastic bag to prevent it from drying out. Be prepared to fill out an information sheet when you arrive at the Extension office. If the problem can not be diagnosed at the Extension Office, we can submit specimens to the OSU Plant Clinic for a fee (about $40.00) to cover laboratory procedures. Another resource is the Plant Clinic at OSU. Some plant diseases are described on the Internet at the Pacific Northwest Plant Disease Control Handbook site. Bring specimen to our office at: Coos County OSU Extension
