Water Tract Interpretive Development

This program is quite unique to Coos County. This program is being developed to provide forestry and natural resource education to children and adults in Coos County. The Water Tract Development is a six-acre plot of land that is located directly behind the water processing facility in Myrtle Point, OR. The development will provide an interpretive trail for educators, and members of the community to come and learn of the natural resources that inhabit the Pacific Northwest. This project is currently underway, and when it's complete multiple educational opportunities will be available for county schools, after school programs, leadership opportunites, and multiple other facets that will be developed by 4-H forestry.
