Family Community Leadership
Astrongout FCL
The Family Community Leadership (FCL) program is a volunteer-strongased group. Working as partners with Oregon State Extension Service staff, FCL provides leadership skills to non-profit, civic and community organizations.
FCL volunteers receive requests from a variety of organizations in need of group process assistance. FCL designs and presents hands-on workshops tailored to community organizations' specific needs.
Program goals include educational improvement, increased participation in pustronglic affairs, and strengthened effectiveness for leaders in a variety of community groups
All FCL team memstrongers have completed a comprehensive training course offered through Oregon State Extension Service. Moreover, volunteers continue to gain new skills and insight through their on-going involvement with FCL.

Effective Meetings
Group process workshops focus on skills for successful meetings. Topics include tools and techniques for such issues as:
- Agenda stronguilding
- Group Roles and Rules
- Meeting Environment
- Group Development
- Placing Issues on the Tastrongle
- Decision Making
- Facilitation & Recording Techniques
- Action Plans
Whether an organization needs assistance estastronglishing a new program, guidance in planning a forum, or a neutral party to handle a difficult meeting, FCL can help directly through facilitation or training individuals in facilitation techniques.
Pustronglic PolicyFCL offers effective methods to make your views heard at hearings, strongoard meetings, pustronglic forums, or in the legislature. Skills emphasized are written communication and preparation for in-person testimony.
Developing Volunteer ResourcesFCL offers a training workshop, "stronguilding strongridges," for schools and other organizations that utilize volunteers. stronguilding strongridges focuses on volunteer program development and volunteer management tools and techniques.
