2013 Class Accreditation Table
The High Desert Green Industry Conference is pleased to provide continuing education units for Oregon pesticide applicators, certified arborists, golf course superintendents, licensed landscape contractors, certified foresters, certified landscape irrigation auditors, and Oregon licensed landscape professionals.
Oregon-licensed Pesticide Applicators
The Oregon Department of Agriculture accredited the High Desert Green Industry Conference. Five (5) classes are approved for pesticide recertification credits. The number of credits received by an Oregon-licensed pesticide applicator is based on the number of approved classes attended. Oregon-licensed pesticide applicators can earn up to 8 CEHs. Please see accreditation table for specific class approval information.
For the record - To be eligible for the recertification credit/minutes assigned to a specific class you must be in attendance for the entire presentation, and at the end of the presentation, before leaving the classroom - you must sign the ODA sign-in sheet.
Certified Arborists
The International Society of Arboriculturue accredited the High Desert Green Industry Conference. Every concurrent session has at least one class approved for CEUs and all Master Classes are approved for CEUs. The keynote is not approved. A person could receive up to 11 CEUs (depending on what they choose to attened).
For the record - To be eligible for the credit assigned to a specific CEU-approved class you must be in attendance for the entire presentation, and at the end of the presentation, before leaving the classroom - you must sign the ISA CEU attendance form.
Oregon-licensed Landscape Professionals
The Oregon Landscape Contractors Board accredited the High Desert Green Industry Conference. All classes are approved for continuing education hours (CEH). A person could receive up to 5 Business or 13 Tech (depending on what they choose to attend).
For the record - To be eligible for the credit assigned to a specific CEH-approved class:
- at registration pick up a Certificate of Participation when you register.
- Attend entire presentation.
- at the end of the presentation, before leaving the classroom
- have your Certificate of Participation stamped, and
- sign the LCB class check-out sheet,
- keep your stamped Certificate of Participation for your records.
