Accepting Applications for Master Food Preserver Volunteer Training
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 - 9:00am - 3:30pm
Application deadline extended to March 20, 2013, Wednesday.
The Master Food Preservers (MFP's) are trained and certified volunteers that assist their county Extension staff in providing up-to-date food safety/preservation information to the citizens in their county.
Requirements to become a Master Food Preserver:
- Commit to a 48-hour training program starting on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
- Pay the $120 material/lab fee
- Volunteer at least 60 hours (including 30 hours of Hotline service) in the year following completion of the training.
- Uphold the educational and service values of the OSU Extension Service
