Tree School Umpqua 2013

Date:
Thursday, March 28, 2013 - 8:00am - 5:00pm

Tree School is back in Douglas County and will be held Thursday,
March 28, 2013, on the campus of Umpqua Community College just
north of Roseburg. This mini-college features 24 classes on a wide
variety of topics of interest to family forestland owners, professional
foresters, loggers, arborists, teachers, and the general public.

The day-long event offers classroom sessions taught by Extension
foresters, professional foresters, and other resource management
professionals. Classes are 1.5 hours and you can participate in up to
four over the course of the day.

During breaks and lunch you will want to check out the on-site
portable sawmill. Snacks and a great lunch are included in your
registration to keep your energy level high!

Registration must be done in advance by March 15 (no walk-ins
allowed),
so act now to reserve your spot in this fun and informative
forestry program. The registration fee is just $50 per person. This
year, late registration is available from March 16 through March 21,
however the fee will go up to $70 after March 15. Bring the family so
you can take advantage of as many class offerings as possible. Feel
free to share this brochure with your friends, neighbors, and any
others you think might benefit from the program. Additional copies
