Registration begins February 1st, early registration is $55 per person, registration is required.  Tree School catalogs will be mailed out the first week of February.  If you are unsure if you are on our mailing list, please call our office to verify.

  • Master Woodland Manager Volunteer Program

    The Master Woodland Manager (MWM) training is offered by Oregon State University Forestry Extension as a master's level course for landowners who are interested in an intensive forest management training and sharing the knowledge gained through this training with people in their local communities.  Graduates of the program have been serving Oregon for 20 years.

    MWM volunteer training will be offered in Douglas County in the Fall of 2019! While it seems so far away, you can start preparing for it today. Be sure to enroll attend events such as Tree School and classes like the Basic Forestry Shortcourse to make sure you’re ready for MWM classes.

  • Douglas County Small Woodlands Association Annual Meeting & Dinner – March 23rd

    Douglas County Fairgrounds, Roseburg

    This is an opportunity for OSWA members to have a pleasant evening dining out, visiting with neighbors, and getting updated on the group’s current and future activities. Mike Cloughesy, Director of Forestry for the Oregon Forest Resources Institute, is this year’s guest speaker.
