2013 Douglas County School Forestry Tour
Information for Schools and Teachers
More information will be available in April, 2013 for the Douglas County School Forestry Tour.
To pre-register, please include school name, your name, your e-mail and telephone number, teacher names, and number of students attending. E-mail registrations to holly.burton@oregonstate.edu .

2013 Douglas County School Forestry Tour--A 52-Year Tradition!
| When | May 14 thru 17, 2013 (Tuesday thru Friday), * 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
*Please arrive by 9 a.m. If you are unable arrive by then, let us know when to expect you. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but you may miss one or more of the learning stations. |

| Where | Douglas County Glide Educational Forest (behind Glide Transfer Station). Map & driving directions. | |

Who |
Schools across Douglas County who have confirmed their attendance after receiving their program introduction letter. Each year, these letters go out to all 5th grade teachers. |

| What | Tour Schedule--what we will be doing each day. The morning includes rotations between seven learning stations and the afternoon includes rotations between four games. |
Tour Supplements for Teachers and Students If you would like to apply for reimbursement of your bus expenses:

Wear or Bring |
**It works well to bring a box to hold all of your class lunches. We have a cool, shady spot where you can store the box until lunch. |
