OSU Extension delivers the latest research on preparing food safely and preserving the flavor of your bountiful garden. Sign up for OSU Extension's canning classes, download food preservation publications, or view a multimedia presentation about canning fruits or canning vegetables.

  • 2015 Summer Series of Preserving Community Education Classes.  Everything you wanted to learn in a hands-on format to safely preserve using Pressure Canning, Water Bath Canning, Dehydrating, and Freezing.  Make your own Jams/Jellies, Salsa, Tuna, Fruits, Vegetables, and even Pickles, or Sauerkrauts.  This flier shows our offered classes starting in May through September, simply print and submit so that you can join us.
  • 2015 Fall Series of Preserving Community Education Classes.  The Fall Series has seveal cooking and baking classes along with Hunt to Home and Cheese.  It is a great line-up that takes us through the end of 2015.  Space is limited in all of our classes so you can register now for any class through the end of the year.
