Douglas County Master Gardeners

The Chapter of the Douglas County Master Gardeners was started in 1984 under the direction of Dr. Karl Carlson, John Stelzer, and Kelly Stelzer. The Oregon State Extension Horticultural Agent at that time was Jeff Olson. Jerry Maul was the Horticultural Agent between 1986 and 1999.  Jeff Choate assumed the role of Master Gardener agent coordinator for a year, before Steve Renquist became Douglas County's Horticultural Agent in 2000.
