I provide leadership in expanding OSU Extension's use of new learning technologies to reach new audiences, including planning, testing, training and development of new technology-mediated learning opportunities. I lead educational teams in the development and distribution of learning modules and learning objects. I also coordinate the OSU Ask an Expert system, overseeing Question Monitor activities, providing reports, and initiating new marketing and educational efforts to broaden participation in the program. I provide strategic planning for use of technology in support of learner services, and promote technological innovation through grants, partnerships, and collaboration with faculty. I am particularly interested in encouraging Extension's presence as a source of online learning through the development of a full spectrum of materials including online courses, educational modules and learning objects. I am also a dedicated fan of the blues, and enjoy playing my National steel guitar whenever possible.
