Bio
Mary is a Professor with Oregon State University Department of Crop and Soil Science and has been with OSU since 1998. She serves as the OSU Outreach and Engagement Regional Administrator for Umatilla, Morrow, Gilliam, Sherman, and Wheeler counties in the Upper Columbia Basin.
In addition to administrative duties, Mary is involved in Dryland Cropping Systems research and Extension work for the Columbia Basin in Oregon. Her work focuses on soil conservation, variety selection, insect pests and weeds in small grains. She also leads the training and coordination of the OSU Master Gardener program in the area.
