Tamara Hill-Tanquist
Bio
Tamara Hill-Tanquist designs and develops websites at Oregon State University in the Extension and Experiment Station Communications department. Also providing training opportunities for faculty and staff.
Previously she founded THT Design where she provided web design and development for over four years; and worked at the Multnomah County Health Department, maintaining their internal and public websites. She has taught web design and programming at Pacific University and was the Green Team Committee Director for AIGA Portland. Tamara studied web design and fine art at the University of Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Multimedia Design.
Tamara's diverse background before web design includes working as a wildland firefighter, technical consultant, trail builder, and lead conceptual artist for a 3D animation. In her spare time, Tamara enjoys gardening, hiking, photography and throwing a Frisbee with her husband, Andrew.
