The Extension Computing Technology Unit provides technical leadership, computer support, and training for faculty and staff of the Oregon State University Extension Service. A part of the Extension Service Operations Center, ECTU is located on the OSU campus in Ballard 108 and more than 400 users located all around the state of Oregon.

If you are having problems using your computer and need help you can click on the top left corner of this page where it says "Immediate Help."
Get Training
We offer classes and one-on-one training to Extension Service faculty and staff. These classes are typically free and can be done on location, using video conference tools, or over the phone using remote computing tools. Training and classes are available in these general areas:
- Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher)
- Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista
- PolyCom Video Conference Systems
