UPS Repair
The only piece of equipment in your network equipment that makes ringing or chirping sounds is the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). The UPS requires regular maintenance. Every 2 to 5 years, the batteries in the UPS need to be replaced. The interval between service varies from unit to unit. Some need to be changed every two years, while others regularly last five. When the UPS starts to chirp or no longer turns on, the battery probably needs to be replaced.
