A field trip that includes an overnight stay at the Oregon Zoo. Explore the zoo on a guided night safari to see the animls, the zoo hospital and the kitchen where all the animal food is prepared. See birds and reptiles up close and personal. Make an enrichment item that will be put in the animal spaces on Sunday.
Grades 4-6 - Dates June 21-24, 2013 - Cost is $10 with scholarship application, $65 without scholarship application. Late registration $75. The scholarship is sponsored by the Walt and Florence Jaeger Endowment for Gilliam County 4-H members. Come spend 4 days at Cusforth Park near Heppner. Transportation is on your own.
