Grant County 4-H Fair Information

2013 Grant County Fair information:

Pre-Fair Horse Schooling Show dates: May 26, June 30, and July 21

2013 Grant County Fair Dates: August 8, 9 & 10

2013 Theme: "Old Traditions, New Beginnings"

2013 4-H/FFA Fair & Pre-fair Registrations are due by 4:00 p.m.,  July 22

Pen Set Up: TBA

Record Books:  Bring your updated record book to each of your 4-H contests to be checked.  Bring your updated record books to the livestock weigh in Wednesday, August 7.  The record books will be checked before you take your animal across the scale or check-in your exhibits.  Completed Record books are due at the Extension Office by October 1, 2013 for judging.

4-H Member fair passes:  Passes may be purchased at the Extension Office: 530 E. Main, Suite 10,  John Day.

4-H Leader fair passes:

  • Free Admission to all Grant County 4-H Leaders  (pick up your passes at the extension office before Aug. 8, 2013)

Camping information:  For Reservations call the Grant County Fairgrounds at (541) 575-1900

Parking Passes:  Parking passes may be acquired at the Grant County Fair Office before fair.
