Hood River Master Gardener Program
The Hood River County Extension office provides training and opportunities for the general public in home horticulture and backyard gardening. The Master Gardener program gives people a chance not only to learn but to share what they have learned with their community.

Weed of the Month is a collaborative effort between Central Gorge Master Gardeners, Hood River County Soil and Water Conservation District, Hood River County Fruit Recreation Industry and the Columbia Gorge Cooperative Weed Management Area.
Join OSU Extension Service, Central Gorge Master Gardeners and Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District for a series of presentations on water conserving landscapes in the Learning Garden at the Extension grounds. The presentations will take place in the gardens and will begin at 6 pm with highlighted features to include bioswales, a native plants garden, hellstrip garden, herb garden, and water efficient lawns.
