Landscaping with Less Water - Open Garden

July 11, 2015 at 9 a.m.

Join OSU Extension Service, Central Gorge Master Gardeners, Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District and Hood River Watershed Group for a series of presentations on water conserving landscapes in the Learning Garden at the Extension grounds.  The presentations will take place in the gardens and will begin at 9 am with highlighted features to include bioswales, a native plants garden, hellstrip garden, herb garden, and water efficient lawns, followed by a primer on drip irrigation from 11 to 11:30. This event will be held at the OSU Mid-Columbia Agricultural Research and Extension Center, 2990 Experiment Station Drive, Hood River, and is free and open to the public.
