This is a special camp newsletter describing four camps that we hope you’ll find interesting and attend. For details on all but the Cloverbud Camp, brochures and/or applications are attached.

Sunday, June 2nd
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Hood River County Fair Grounds – Barn Area
$5.00 at the door (cost includes a snack)
This fun day is open to all kids finishing Kindergarten – 3rd grade. There will be animals – large and small – crafts, art projects, sewing, cooking and gardening activities.
Kids should wear clothes that they can get dirty. For safety sake, no open toed shoes or flip flops as kids will be working around the animals. Older 4-H members are needed to teach.
If you have questions, would like to volunteer to teach or would like to RSVP so there will be plenty of supplies for all, please call the Extension Office at 541-386-3343.
Wednesday, June 19 – Saturday, June 22
Camp Morrow (near Wamic on Pine Hollow Reservoir)
For any child completing 4th, 5th or 6th grades
Cost: $150.00 (some scholarships are available for 4-H members)

Held at Oregon State University in Corvallis
For Teens completing 7th – 12th grades
Cost: $200.00 – half scholarships are available – please request a scholarship form from the Hood River County Extension Office.
Pre-registration May 1st – June 1st through the county Extension Office is required! For a class list and more information, go to http://oregon.4h.oregonstate.edu/2009-summer-conference. (This is the site for the 2013 conference, disregard 2009).
June 30 - July 5th
Open to students in 9th, 10th or 11th grades
Youth will stay on the OSU campus and in Newport
Application Due by May 24th
The only cost is a $35 application fee that will be returned if the youth is not selected. NO OTHER FEES APPLY.
