4-H members at the OSU Summer Conference.

Members of 4-H have the opportunity to experience local, state, as well as, regional programs, events and trainings.  Local youth have attended:

  • High Desert Leadership Retreat: Designed for youth in 7th to 12th grade.  Participants have the opportunity to participate in hands on activities, workshops and seminars designed to enhance their capabilities in school, at home, on the job, and in life.  This conference is held annually over the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
  • OSU Summer Conference: Held on the OSU campus every June.  Registration is for youth that are in the 7th to 12th grade, with a variety of classes to choose from.  It is a great chance to make new friends and spend time on the OSU campus.
  • 4-H Camp Tumbleweed:  Join us at Camp Tumbleweed at the Washington Family Ranch.  Look for information in the fall of 2016.
  • Register for Tractor Safety Training.  Tractor Safety Training will be held at Central Oregon Agricultural Research Center (COARC) beginning on June 13-15, 2016.
