Nutrition and Fitness

Good health and good food go hand in hand. Our nutrition programs focus on disease prevention, cost effective food purchasing, food preparation and safety.

Our Classes
Low income families learn to plan nutritious meals that save time and money.
Feeding Your Family & Money for Food are two adult classes we teach at various locations throughout the community. Regularly scheduled classes are on Fridays from 9-10:30 am at 134 North 3rd Street, downtown. Please call our office to register at 541-883-7131.

Food is Fun is our youth nutrition program typically taught in schools (K-6th grades) with 50% or more of students recieving free/reduced price lunch. Our goal is to teach in a fun but meaningful way--lots of hands-on activities. The series consists of 4 session each lasting about 45-60 minutes. More Information

Train the Trainer is designed to teach other professionals about nutrition and fitness. We can adpat our training to the needs of your institution.
