The Efficient Cook - June 12, 2012 - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm - Lake County Extension Office
Instructor: Patty Case, Associate Professor Oregon State University Extension
We spend hours watching others cook (think Rachel Ray and Food Network) yet for many people cooking has become a lost art. We'd rather eat out or buy a frozen dinner than peel potatoes. Although convenient, these choices can cost us our health, cash and time. In this class we will share ideas on how to use modern kitchen tools and rediscover meal planning practices used in years past. Freezing and pressure cooking techniques will be featured. Bring your ideas and your favorite kitchen tool. Get inspired and inspire others to return to the joy of home cooking.
Registration Deadline June 4, 2012. Registration Fee $5.
