If you are a new 4-H member, please come to the Extension Office to pick up your new member packet, record book and animal book (if applicable). Green record book covers are $2.00, dividers are $1.00 and Ohio State University animal books are $10.00 each.
The 4-H and FFA Farm is located in Lakeview near the solar farm. Facilities include small pens, each equipped with a shelter and water spigot. There is a larger pen that members can use to work with their animals. 4-H members who do not have a place to keep an animal can house sheep, goats and swine at the Farm. Pens may be shared between family members or friends, but each member is responsible for all care of the animal and maintenace of the pen during the 4-H year. The cost to use the Farm is a $50.00 refundable deposit per animal. Any member who would like to keep an animal at the 4-H & FFA Farm needs to fill out the Livestock Housing Agreement and return it to the Extension Office with the $50.00 deposit. Pens will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis.
