Walk With Ease
A Walking Program for Better Living
This nine week program will be held at the Lakeview High School Track on Monday and Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, June 11th and ending Wednesday, August 13th. The program will begin at 7:00 am and end by 8:00 am.

In studies by the Thurston Arthritis Research Center and the Institute on Aging of the University of North Carolina, Walk With Ease was shown to reduce pain, increase balance and strength, and improve overall health.
Experience the Walk With Ease Program
Walk With Ease Classes – Led by a certified instructor, these one-hour classes meet three times per week for six weeks and are designed to be relaxing and enjoyable. Each session includes:
- Health-related discussion topics
- Self-paced group walks
Walk With Ease Guidebook – Provides all the information, support and tools you need to help you set and reach your goals. The popular walking guidebook includes:
- New customized walk-for-fitness routine
- Stretching exercises
- Heart-rate monitoring techniques
If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease.
This program is provided in partnership with the Oregon State University Extension Program, Lake County Public Health, Lake County Senior Center and Lake Health District
