Walk With Ease
Walking Program Continues
Due to Success of the Summer 2013 Walk With Ease Program
The Lake District Hospital is open to walkers Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. For more information contact Siobhan Cremin, with the Lake District Hospital at 541-947-2114.
A walking Program for Better Living
The first Walk With Ease program was held in Lake County the summer of 2013. We hope to offer this program on an annual basis each summer. For more information please contact Jamie at the OSU Extension Office at 541-947-6054.

In studies by the Thurston Arthritis Research Center and the Institute on Aging of the University of North Carolina, Walk With Ease was shown to reduce pain, increase balance and strength, and improve overall health.
Experience the Walk With Ease Program
Walk With Ease Classes – Led by a certified instructor, these one-hour classes meet three times per week for six weeks and are designed to be relaxing and enjoyable. Each session includes:
- Health-related discussion topics
- Self-paced group walks
Walk With Ease Guidebook – Provides all the information, support and tools you need to help you set and reach your goals. The popular walking guidebook includes:
- New customized walk-for-fitness routine
- Stretching exercises
- Heart-rate monitoring techniques
If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease.
