4-H Youth

Learning by doing

The 4-H Youth Development Program helps young people grow to become productive citizens. We offer 4-H clubs and projects, school enrichment materials, and summer camp.

Lane County 4-H youth programs build leadership skills, communication skills, and citizenship skills!

Get involved
Youth in grades 4 through 12 can join 4-H. We also have a program for youth in kindergarten to grade 3 (4-H Adventures). Visit How to Join for more details, and call 541-682-4243. We'll be happy to connect you with 4-H clubs that have same project interests as your child.

4-H needs adult volunteers
Adult volunteers lead 4-H projects and programs. Make a difference in the lives of youth in Lane County. For more information about becoming a 4-H volunteer, visit Volunteer.

Support 4-H
Due to county budget reductions, 4-H Youth Development programs are operating at reduced levels and their future is in question. A major fundraising effort is underway to help keep 4-H programming active beyond June 2009. To make a tax-deductible donation, please visit the OSU Foundation Web site and follow these instructions:

Step 1: Enter your contribution in the "First Amount" box, then select "Next."

Step 2: Enter your contact information, then select "Next."

Step 3: Enter your payment information, then select "Process Gift."
