2008 Pruning Workshops
We are happy to provide you with our 2008 Pruning Class Schedule. For the past 18 years the OSU/Lane County Extension Service has offered this training to home orchardists/gardeners, and the response has always been tremendous. Thousands of your fellow gardening enthusiasts have completed some or even all of the pruning classes and some have come back a second time to keep their pruning skills sharp! As in years past, these trainings are offered free of charge. You are welcome to attend all of the classes or you may prefer to select one or two.
Classes are presented by trained OSU/Lane County Master GardenersTM, or should we say Pruning Specialists! They are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you and want your class experience to be fun, as well as educational. You do not need to bring pruning tools (unless noted) to the classes, but you might want to bring your camera for pictures. We are a hardy bunch, so classes will be held rain, shine or snow, so dress accordingly. Some of these classes are held at private or commercial orchards/property sites, please observe parking restrictions and stay with your group. Our hosts thank you! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED.
