Education for better woodlands management

Through applied research, publications, workshops, and demonstrations, the OSU Extension Forestry Program in Lane County is helping woodland owners better manage their forest land today and in the future. Our forestry programs:

• Encourage responsible woodland management
• Build knowledge base of woodland information
• Make available the latest applied research information
• Provide individual assistance with forestry questions and issues

Extension Forestry offers classroom sessions on a variety forestry issues, field tours of relevant interest, Lane Woodland News newsletter, Log Buyers Directory, and Master Woodland Manager volunteer support.
